This $6.5 million project is currently under construction in Fort Wayne, Indiana. It is bringing on line, via Indiana Housing Finance Authority a low income housing tax credit project, 65 new one and two bedroom apartment units designated for senior housing. This is a design/build project with Keller Development out of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
The first section is the adaptive reuse of the old Keystone School building; a one story masonry structure. 20 one and two bedroom units are carved out of classroom space with larger volume space being reused as exercise area, community space and a theater.
A new two story structure, connected to the adaptive reuse part, adds 45 two bedroom units to Ryker Reserve. All first floor units are adaptive for ADA compliance.
The site is enhanced with an outdoor pavilion, walking paths and a rain garden.
