Displaced by encroaching commercial development and migration of membership, Resurrection Lutheran Church chose to move to a new site that offered opportunity for expansion and mission fulfillment. The new facility incorporates a new sanctuary, fellowship hall, kitchen, choir room, nursery, classrooms, library, youth room, offices, storage, a porte-cochere and significantly sized narthex that is centrally located to encourage before and after worship interaction. The master plan for the church also provides for planned expansion of fellowship space and classrooms.
The west facing sanctuary utilizes glazing and height to create drama in the chancel area and the fan shaped seating brings the congregation into an intimate setting for worship.
A pond aesthetically enhances the site and is also used to incorporate high-efficiency, water-source heat pumps for the HVAC system.
