FWHA Office Addition and Renovations

An addition and renovation to Fort Wayne Housing Authority's office. This project consisted on the construction of interior partitions, wallcovering removal, painting, new doors, replacing existing light fixtures, window replacement, new window openings, infilling existing openings, door hardware replacement, renovations to the reception counter, electrical and data modifications including relocating existing power poles located in the open office area and pulling new data as needed, flooring replacement, selective ceiling replacement. HVAC alterations and new construction. HVAC and lighting replacement and floor plan modifications were done to provide additional offices. New HVAC systems included two twined high efficiency furnaces and condensing units controlled by a custom control panel for additional flexibility and reliability, economizer, and demand controlled ventilation. Light fixtures were replaced with new T8 fluorescent troffers. An alternate bid was taken for LED fixtures, however fluorescent turned out to be more economical. Also, the existing systems furniture was modified and reworked to provide additional work stations.
