(3D Laser Scanning) – MartinRiley is featured on ‘City View’
MartinRiley is proud to have been selected as the architect for the restoration of 8 houses in the historic West Central Neighborhood of Fort Wayne. In a world where so much is made to be disposable, we are ecstatic to team with clients and communities that instead choose to maintain, re-purpose, and preserve.
We may be working on old buildings here, but the technology we use is cutting edge. MartinRiley utilizes FARO (3D laser scanning) for its ability to rapidly acquire data for ‘as built’ drawings. Time and energy are cut dramatically during this measurement stage, and the accuracy of the data collected in these beginning stages drastically improves the quality of the entire project.
Watch the video below to hear Jack Close (Office of Housing and Neighborhood Services) discuss this exciting project, and to see MartinRiley’s Tony Murray demonstrate the use of
our 3D laser Scanner.
